Hey peeps! Just lookin' for a change! I wrote this small poem which might not be the only one I write, but here it is! Hope it's not too crappy. XD

With Solemn Eyes

The red glow in the sky,
shined ever so brightly,
as the cold wind blew across me.
Though I couldn't see with my eyes,
my ears heard the rumble, the roar...
With solemn eyes,
I looked unto the sky,
watching the smoke grow red...
for I'm sure of the fire,
blazing ever so greatly,
held out 'til the very end.
As the fire comes to a spark,
then to smoke in the sky,
I watch with solemn eyes.
