A Midnight Bird Part 7I walked into my next class and saw Adrian sitting in the back with my books on top of a desk next to his. I sat down, feeling myself fuming with anger. Adrian didn't ask why I was mad, I guess he thought it was best not to bother me. All during class, all I could think of was beating the s**t out of Nancy till her head popped off. I could do that now to.
In the middle of class a piece of paper was dropped onto my desk. I opened it and I saw the hand writing was completely messy so it couldn't have been Adrian. I turned my head to see Mike looking at me. I rolled my eyes and read the note. It said "Sorry about everything, it was the beer talking. I'm just glad your okay." I groaned and looked at him. He gave me a smile that could get any other girl to start drooling but not me. I flipped him off and tossed the paper all the way to the front of the class room, into the trash can next to the teacher.
"Who threw that?" asked the teacher. Mike and I pointed at each other. The teacher smiled and said "Nice try Mike but I know Raven can't shoot that far. Stay after class." I smirked at Mike and I could feel Adrian trying to hold back a laugh. Each class was 80 minutes so I only had four classes a day and another four the next day so next was lunch.
The bell rang and I stood up and walked out with Adrian close behind. Once we were in the hall he came up to my side. "Is it even safe to ask what happened yet?"
"You don't know how bad I want to hurt her right now." He was about to aske something until we were about to pass the nurses office. I looked inside and Nancy was in there and her nose was still bleeding and she must had cut her arm when she fell. She didn't notice us at all. Then my nose was filled with the scent of her blood and something crazed inside of me made me want to go in there and bite her. I turned towards the door heading outside and I ran outside.
I walked around to the other side of the building and dropped my books on the grass. I leaned against the school's wall and breathed in deeply and brushed my hair back. Adrian was infront of me in a blink of an eye. I was about to speak when Nancy walked past us heading to the gym. Her nose had just about stopped bleeding but it was still trickling down. The crazed feeling was back and I got off the wall and was about to jump her. Then Adrian grabbed my arm and slammed me against the wall. Nancy was gone completely but her scent was still there. Adrian was holding me againt the wall with his body pressed against mine holding me back. I tried to get out of his grip but he was stronger then me.
"Calm down, I'll take you hunting right now if you calm down." I didn't answer but just kept struggling. Then he did something I never saw coming. He slammed his lips against mine and pressed me harder against the wall. I could feel my body start to relax and his grip loosened on my arms. Eventually he let my arms go and wrapped his arms around my waist. My slid around his neck. He lifted me up a bit so he didnt have to lean down as much. God this felt good.
