You're not old! I'm pretty sure you're younger than me? And I don't think I'm old. lol

I'm doing alright, finished my degree in chemistry and basically accomplished everything I planned to - not sure if I'll be going back to Japan or not. I feel I want to see more of the world though and definitely don't want to stay in the UK.

What kind of work are you doing? Hope you're doing alright and are happy though. 3nodding

Thanks so much for the explanation though! I had no idea you had two systems like that, that's pretty cool! Although you might confuse a lot of people like me, who assume college and university is the same thing. xP

That sounds pretty sucky. :/ So have you actually found something that is at least bearable or are you still looking? Cars are definitely expensive, most people under 30 don't have a car in this country.

Damn, I didn't even realize that! I mean 3 months is just too much vacation if you ask me, but I would miss it if I didn't have any at all, and then for 3 years?! But then again, I bet it feels pretty damn good to be done, right? smile

I actually really missed speaking English, and I can tell it's quickly coming back to me now that I get to speak it more regularly. I also have a class this semester with the other exchange students that requires me to speak English, so that should be fun! I think she's from around Quebec? Or Montreal. She speaks French either way, haha. Canada is really huge! A lot of it is of course lakes and ice which is less fun, but it's still not bad I'd say.

I never thought of the lungs as being free floating, but now that you say it, I guess that makes sense. Totally sucks though. Good thing you have a more stationary kind of job, right? I bet that takes some getting used to?

Whaaaat? Like done done? Like completely done with college? But you're younger than me! So do you have to move out and find your own place then? How easy/ difficult is that where you live?
I haven't been up to much, just enjoying the summer which has been pretty great. Now I'm starting to get ready for another semester. I'm mentoring some exchange students (meaning that I'm taking them to their place of living and stuff like that) and there's even a girl from Canada. biggrin
