You might have more luck not just looking for MCs. MCs were discontinued some time ago but there are a lot of premium items compared to back then when it was pretty much only MCs then EIs.
As for earning, unless you earn by playing Lake Kindred or zOMG, switching to Platinum is better. You can hit plat cap by just doing DC and posting in the forums a bit sweatdrop
They taught us HTML, CSS, and Visual Basic in high school but I've forgotten all of it. I learned a bit of Python on my own but I've forgotten it all. I don't really study or plan to work in this field anyway but I just think it's fun even if I always make simple mistakes sweatdrop
There is a lot to take in... I wish word processors could make could look like how they do when viewing page source so it's easier to see .__.

Thank you whee It's hard to tell how coded stuff will look on other screens probably horrible rip. Testing it out it looks how it's supposed to look on 1024x768, and 1366x768.
