The above snazzy art is from:
"600 pages on 'A Woman in Charge'? Why can't you just say 'bad idea' and leave it at that?" -Stephen Colbert, The Colbert ReportMultimedia:
How To Deal With Odd Sexual Requests
It's fairly practical advice, but more importantly, it's hilarious. And ahead of time, no; nothing non-PG13 in there, so kindly don't abuse our reporting system just because of the word "sexual."Iris Lantern...

That was the Cheat Sheet, if you will. For those who are actually interested, read on...Iris Lantern Random Fact of the Day:
Iris is back from a long, World of Warcraft -induced hiatus!
I am no longer listing my age here thanks to sketchy PM's regarding it. Suffice to say I am not a minor, so bring on the pr0n. I go to school, and enjoy it. I honestly don't think I have anything worthwhile to do with my time other than getting an education.
I am a huge casual flirt, so please don't mind if I hit on you. It's all in good fun, I promise.
I love to swim and play badminton athletic wise. Other than that I don't get much activity, barring the occasional romantic walk/impulsive "lets have an adventure!" decision. When I can be convinced to get out of bed, I do enjoy the great outdoors. I have homes in upstate New York and Massachusettes, as well as my actual full- time residence on Long Island, so I get a fairly eclectic view of wildlife.
This section needs a bit of an update! Religiously, I identify myself as an agnostic, but as that's a tad vague, my views: there may or may not be a god, I don't really concern myself with the query. I respect the rights of all people to believe whatever they want to. Politically, I identify as libertarian: less is more when it comes to government. A few issues that I find important are: gender relations/feminism, politically correct language, socialism, and sexual freedom. Sexually, I identify as a lot of things, none of which are really open to the public. Ask me about it sometime.
As stated above, reading is one of the joys in my life. My favorite authors are varied, but include Amelia Atwater- Rhodes, Phillip Pullman, Tamora Pierce, Alice Sebold, Jacqueline Carey, Mark Anthony, Robert Jordan, Madeline L'Engle, Terry Goodkind and Douglass Preston/Lincoln Child. Among the classics, I enjoy Shakespeare, Dante, Orwell, Isaac Asimov, and Nietzsche particularly. Ayn Rand is of course in a class entirely her own.
My favorite story of all time is Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth
series. Yes, it is mass- market fantasy. Shut up. It's very entertaining and brings up many worthy philosophical queries. My favorite author, Ayn Rand, actually wrote about the same principles in a less fantastic setting.
Oddly enough, I collect resin figurines. They are getting more difficult to find these days, which really makes it all the more fun. I recently added a sorceress to my collection. I am rather happy with it thus far, totalling thirteen figurines.
...evidentially, I need a life.
I'm less concerned with advertising my musical tastes these days, so suffice it to say that they are very varied and I'm sure we have some bands in common.
My favorite song is the 1812 Overture.
Some other random things that I enjoy are: reading tabloids, listening to people talk, writing thesis papers, buying new books, religious education of all kinds, debate, having sex, meeting new people, arguing with feminists, taking standardized tests and just sitting and thinking, when I can.
Well, that's me in an adequately- sized container (not a nutshell, given the length of that). If you want to know more, you'll have to get to know me, won't you? *Ker-wink*
I like to rate avi's and make tektek's and such. Some of my various designs, dream avi's, commissions or whatever may go under here. Feel free to comment. And, of course, give me items that I'm missing :p
