Is there anything you've noticed that's gone down then? All the really cheap items (under 50k) seem to be pretty stable. But stuff in the 500k-1mil price range are inanely high.

I took advantage of it, too, but I took a hit earlier in the month because Modus went on sale the very evening I bought 2 of them.. that was just not fun =/. But now with the hyper inflation I've made plenty back.. that being said, at these prices, I don't think I'll be able to buy the items back at a good price... sad at least not any time soon.

You're not the only one who noticed the hyper inflation. It's got to be from Flynn's Booty or whatever. I thought it would have settled back down by now but no.. I hope to god the prices sink back down :S. This is insane.

That's part of the problem though, gold is concrete and it's worth is on an entirely different economy. 1.4 Billion gold from yesterday is still worth 1.4 billion gold today and thats what part of the problem is. Thats why the marketplace is getting ******** up and their thinking about a 10% tax. If you have 500k gold today and you wanted to buy an item that cost 500k yesterday but is 750k now, your outta luck because the gold value hasn't fluxed and simply put it won't until gold becomes easily enough attained for everyone. If they made it so that you could make a million gold in a week as any average player (not one like a vender or a artist) than you would be talking a different economy.

I think a lot of this goes back to Halos and old-gaia status items to man. You look at the fallout that was had when people bought halos the brief time they were on sale, now halo's are barely worth 2bil like the used to be, I think this inflation could have been an attempt at rectifying that crash but at the same time it brought up all the other items as well.

1) Summit is a good song.

2) All this inflation is in retaliation to Flynns Booty. It was a 3 day rig they put out for gold where basically you got a random number between 50k and 100m gold. Ive seen screencaps of 85m wins and s**t so the market pretty much exploded because of the company's need for money. Or rather want for money.
