Hey there! I'm Icarus or Icky, but you can call me whatever you like... Those are the two more popular nicknames I have been given. You can make one up too, I love adding oddities to my collection.

So a little about me? I've been on Gaia for a year now, starting off as an insignificant newbie to now. Still pretty insignificant I guess, but at least not as newbish anymore lol... I can usually be found in my own guild or in various friends' quests/threads.

I recently met one of your friends on Reddit. He goes by Marenhide now. When I told him I was on gaia, he told me your story. I know we've never met, but he made me wish I knew you. Thank you for bringing light into my friend's life.

So I came by with respect and kinda heartbroken by the comments I had read, were by your loving friends who misses you terribly.

Hey hun. I know it's been a while and there's been alot that's happened since the last time I posted a comment. I wish I could tell you in person. Perhaps someday I will.

I hope that you know I've never forgotten you. I've never forgotten how things were with us. I never needed to know about all the things you've done to know that you are a genuinely good person. You don't come across people like that very often these days.

Like everyone else here I half expect to see that you logged in not very long ago... sometimes even hoping that I'm lucky enough to see that you're online right at that very moment. Here's the thing though. I know that I don't need to see that you're online to know that you're around. I just know that you're looking down on all the people you ever cared about with great love and making sure they're ok. That's just the kind of person you are.

I refuse to refer to you with past tense words because I know that you're still around. Your body may be gone, but you are not. I don't know if you really still remember me even, but it doesn't matter because I will never ever forget you! I absolutely refuse to! You will always have a place... a home in my heart and that will never change. heart

I still always think of you. Though the wound in my heart from your departure seems to have shrunk, I doubt it will ever close. I miss you.

I agree, heaven is in much need of a better internet connection. Also, I know where your coming from cent, I come back to the fold after how many years and the first thing I do is check up on Icarus...then I remember, and I find my heart still is saddened. As they say, "Time heals all wounds, but Absence makes the heart grow fonder". On a side note, I've taken to using the name Icarus in a lot of the RPGs I play(Dragon Age, KOTORI+II, and so on...) and now I remember why. You will always be missed, I'm still sorry we never got to hang out that much. Hope to see you up there. /tiphat.
