MY TWIN

My Twin,
Walks with me in the rain.
As I run,
To catch that moving train.

It carries,
My soul and spirit away.
I must catch it,
To look upon another day.

In puddles,
My Twin runs along my route.
Does My Twin,
Understand my pursuit.

My Twin,
It seems to believe in me.
It follows,
And it doesn't disagree.

Tell me,
My Twin; am I right?
Tell me,
My Twin, will I sleep tonight?

My Twin,
Does it have no voice.
My Twin,
Does it not have a choice?

Inside,
My Twin disappears,
I wonder,
If it hears my tears.

Before a mirror,
She appears once more,
My Soul,
Is where she will explore.

I know, she is within,
And so I start to grin,
Now, I acknowledge My Twin.
Just as I acknowledge My Sin.
