Yeah, but at the same time, Japanese is easier to pronounce. Although, it may only be the fact that I've been introduced to the language YEARS ago, therefore have had more time to listen to it and know how it sounds and such, whereas with Korean, which I have only recently been exposed to earlier this year. o-o

Hahaha! IF I have a bf! If not, then I'll just drag one of my guy friends along! lol xD

Yeah, it can be, probably also because they probably expect you to know all of the Hiragana/Katakana, Kanji, and Hangul before had. -__-
I just started the Korean class tonight and completely had to stop because it wouldn't give me a Romaji or w/e of the Hangul! @____@
Ugh. I thought Korean would be a little easier since there's only like 40 characters and all, compared to the hundreds of Kanji, but the pronunciation is hard. ;__;
Oh well. My friend and I will study together after finals. v____v

Oh man, do I know! @___@ Even though I work at a vet's office, I still know the importance of vaccines. o-o
Actually, the only part that really has me nervous about going by myself to Seoul is the fact that (I heard this from someone who went there.) foreigners need to be especially careful there because some of the nicest old people and cab drivers and venders will try to get you somehow and sell you. O-O
Waaah... that's the only thing I'm scarred about, even more than the handsy perverts on the Japanese trains! @____@

Idk, I'll find out when I transfer into UF once I get my AA next year. o-o
I'm a biology major too, but for pre-vet. I'm striving to get into veterinary school at UF, so that's why I'm at a community college so I can continue working while earning my AA as an uncertified veterinary technician/assistant. biggrin

Yes, business is rather risky, just because everyone (it seems) goes into it (or psychology) because it's an easier major that doesn't require as many years of schooling. =/
But it WOULD be rather interesting to be a language major and be an international translator and get paid to go on vacations to other countries with other people. smile

Wow, you have Pimsleur? I heard that it's a lot better than Rosetta Stone! My friend gave me an invitation code for some web site so that I could download 1-3 for free, but the website's down! ;A;
Heisig? Iie, i haven't. :/ But I have heard of Minna no Nihongo though. I have a Hiragana/Katakana book (Kana de Manga) that's pretty neat, it shows each character along with its pronunciation and a small illustration. : )
So far, I'm not too worried about learning any Kanji right now, at least until I can speak it first (I think it'd be easier that way). Plus I'm also attempting to learn Korean. *____*
Which do you prefer? Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone? =o

So I'm taking Korean and Japanese on there. I think I may start a Korean lesson today, but idk. I'm studying abroad in Japan in 2 1/2 years, so maybe I should finish learning Japanese first? xD
But then again, I wanna go on a mini trip to South Korea while I'm there and go to Seoul and try to search for K-pop stars. *___* hahaha.

Classical is always relaxing and powerful. You need to check out Holst's The Planets. Jupiter and Mars are the best! When I was in high school our full orchestra played the original ones! smile
Gallimaufry and Night On Bald Mountain are amazing as well. <3
Honestly, pretty much all I used to listen to was J-rock and J-pop (Berryz Kobou, Morning Musume, Ayumi Hamasaki, etc...), but lately it's been almost strictly K-pop, like DBSK, SHINee, B2ST, f(x), etc...) o-o
They have WAY better dance music, and it's really addicting! @____@
The only thing is... I don't know ANY Korean. -__-
I know some Japanese and can speak a little, so I can @ lesat get the gist of what they're saying. xD
But I've just started learning (more) Japanese and Korean on www.livemocha.com, so hopefully it will help... *____*
