Later everyone looks up at a statue of Jayne.
Simon: "Son of a b***h."
Simon has just talked to Jayne about what happened on Ariel and what he'd never do to Jayne. As Simon is leaving Jayne...
River: "Also-I can kill you with my brain."
Zoë: "Cap'n'll have a plan... always does."
Kaylee: That's good...right?"
Zoë: "It's possible you're not recalling some of the cap'n's previous plans..."
Jayne: "Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please?"
Mal: "I don't believe there's a power in the 'verse can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct-tape her mouth, and dump 'er in the hold for a month."
Grinning Kaylee gives Mal a peck on the cheek.
Kaylee: "I love my captain."
Zoë: "I know something ain't right."
Wash: "Sweetie, we're crooks. If everything were right, we'd be in jail."
After the crew eavesdropped on a wave between Mal and Inara, sees Inara invite the crew to join her at the companion training house. They've already determined it's a trap.
Mal: "You all were watching, I take it?"
Kaylee: "Yes."
Mal: "Did you see us fight?"
Kaylee: "No."
Mal: "Trap."

First Doctor-William Hartnell
The Doctor: "If you could touch the alien sand and hear the cries of strange birds, and watch them wheel in another sky, would that satisfy you?"
Ian: "We'd better keep an eye on him. He seems to have a knack of getting himself into trouble."
The Doctor: "As we learn about each other, so we learn about ourselves."
The Doctor: "We're always in trouble! Isn't this extraordinary - it follows us everywhere!"
Marco Polo: "On my travels to Cathay, Ian, I have come to believe many things I'd previously doubted. For instance, when I was a boy in Venice, they told me that in Cathay there was a stone that burned. I did not believe, but there is such a stone: I have seen it. And if stone burns, why not a caravan that flies? Birds fly; I have even seen fish that fly. You are asking me to believe that your caravan can defy the passage of the sun? Move not merely from one place to another, but from today into tomorrow, today to yesterday? No Ian, that I cannot believe."
The Doctor: "I don't believe that man was made to be controlled by machines. Machines can make laws, but they can not preserve justice. Only human beings can do that."
The Doctor: "I made some cocoa and got engaged."

Barbara and Susan have just been led to the Dalek resistance group
Professor Dortmun: "Two more pairs of hands! Good."
David Campbell: [Pointing to Barbara.] "She says she can cook!"
Professor Dortmun: "Can you?"
Barbara nods.
David Campbell: [Addressing Susan] "And what do YOU do?"
Susan: "I eat."
About the Daleks
Professor Dortmun: "Obey motorised dustbins?! We'll see!"
[Ian and Barbara are perplexed about the Doctor deciding to take a nap rather than explore]
Barbara: "Well, maybe we're going to see a new side to the Doctor."
Ian: "Yeah, well he isn't getting any younger, is he? You know, it's the first time he's been asleep during a landing. Barbara, I've got an idea he's getting a bit..."[Ian mimes being old and senile, and Barbara laughs. The Doctor suddenly pokes his head out of the TARDIS doors]
The Doctor: "Remember, I can hear what you're saying."
The Doctor: "What do you think of that, now, eh? A Viking helmet."
Steven Taylor: "Maybe."
The Doctor: "What do you mean, 'maybe'? What do you think it is, a space helmet for a cow?"
The Doctor: "So you're my replacements - a dandy and a clown!"

Angel
Doyle: "I can't imagine Angel in tights. ... Oh, now I can and it's really disturbing."
Doyle: "You need to chat people up a little more casual like. You know, hi, what's your name? How's life treatin' ye? What's that you say? Minions from hell gettin' you down?"
Spike: "You're a-"
Angel: "Spike!"
Spike: "You're a bloody puppet! Wee lil' puppet-man!"
Cop: "We're closed."
Doyle: "You're the police! You can't close."
Cordelia: "This plant was thriving just this morning. Now look at it. I'm telling you, where she leads, dark forces follow."
Doyle: "Buffy gave it mites?"
Cordelia: "How else do you explain it?"
Doyle: "Jealousy?"
Cordelia: "I'm jealous of her? Please!"
Doyle: "Just a theory."
Angel: "I feel something coming, Doyle, I don't know what. But I know we're a part of it."
Doyle: "Well, if it's a fight they want... can't someone else give it to 'em? Just seems unfair, you know? You gotta save all the helpless-types around here, and now you gotta fight the Apocalypse as well?"
Angel: "It's all the same thing. Fight the good fight, whichever way you can."
Doyle: "Tell you what, you fight, and I'll keep score."
Angel: "Why would a woman I've never met even talk to me?"
Doyle: "Have you looked in the mirror lately? No, I guess you really haven't, no."
Angel: "You don't smell human."
Doyle: "Well, that's a bit rude. As it happens, I'm very much human. Sneezes and his face changes. Shakes it off. On my mother's side."
