FAMILY ORIGINEver heard the phrases every story has two sides. Well my family story is very interesting and has two very different sides.
In one or another it never comes together and questions are still not answered. But I will be going the different families that I have
and who is all in the family.
It's Friday March 28, 1986 at 4:59 pm and into the world comes (at the time) Larithia Tieyonnia Qwine Henderson.
As far as adults come it was my mom and grandmother at the time I was born. Then two years and five days later my sister was born.
So I was the first grandchild and daughter born. Well it was alot of stress on my mom being a fifteen and pregnant. My grandmother
had her back because she wanted my mom to finish school and go to college. By the time my mom was eighteen she had two girls and
as a straight A student. Some circumstances at my birth was that she was young and delivering a baby was going to be nervous but
everything went okay and I came right on out. Now by this time I'm going on two years I was very advanced for my age I was potty
trained and could say my address and phone number. This was around the time where my mom had just had my sister and she was
about four months old. Her half sisiter had came home from the military to visit her nieces she had never seen. She had asked my mom
could she take us down to Flordia to see our their father's mother. Now this is where the story kind of gets twisted. Okay so my mom
agreed to let me go but my sister could go because she was to young. Now by this time my mother was eighteen and had just graduated
from high school and was goin to college in New Jersey in the fall. Now my mother was very responsible but my grandmother was
very protective over us she wanted to know who was watching and where we was at all times. So when she heard that my mother let me
go down to Flordia with JoAnne she was very upset. She already did trust her because of the past. So my grandmother let it go but I
to be retured two weeks later. But that never happen I was gone for fourteen years and two weeks. In between times my name was
changed to Tieyonnia Larithia Brandon and same where between this time I was adopted by her. All this was going on under my
mother nose while she was searching and paying private investgaters to look for me JoAnne was nowhere to be found. My mother
grandma said it was like she disappeared off the face of earth. Being that I was only two years old don't remember anything so when it
all came out I was very upset that I had been lied to. So life went on with me and Joanne we went to Germany for six months then
came back and she sent me to live with her adpoted parents in Indiana while she went to war. I lived with them all of my kindergarden
year then we moved to Texas where I lived until I was sixteen. In between these years my mother had graduated with her degree and
brought her first house at twenty four years old. My grandmother who had got sick and died in 1999 never got to her first grandchild
grow up and see what she looked like or anything. On her death bed she asked my mother could she find me and bring me home. After
almost fifteen years JoAnne decided that I needed to know the truth. So on May 11, 2002 she sat me down and told me that she was not
my real mother and that I was adopted. Just the way she told me just hurt me and I couldn't believe anything she said. I ended up
running away because I could trust her and I couldn't figure out why she would tell me that. So I finally ended up in Indiana with my
grandparents to live until I graduated. But while up there I was so depressed I would not sleep or eat. They took me to see people but I
would talk. So finally after being there for two months JoAnne came to New York and looked up my mom. Now after fifteen years and
