Vengeance of Night

He stands beside her, towering over her from his height. He doesn't budge to look at her, Batman stares off into the distance.
"Not long, the Javelin is under maintenance."
His eyes move along to whatever catches his sudden interest from the average commotion that was occurring over this city. He watches as small boxes move along from street to street, and the lights luminescent to crowded gatherings below. The city looked foggy from the misty fumes that arise from the airvents by nearby skyscraper rooftops. The atmosphere, was dark but artificially brightened from the city's light pollution. Only a tint of blue gleamed through the windows of the busy city.

"Hello, Shayera."
A raspy deep voice greeted from behind her. He found her watching over Earth from one of the large glass panes by the hallways of the Watchtower. His steps were quiet until he made his presence known, his boots hitting the metal floor suddenly making sound apathetically.
