Things have been good. I'm trying to help a friend from one of my guilds make a comic. At first I REALLY wanted to help out, but it turns out there are some...ah...decency issues we need to figure out first.

Other than that, things have been pretty bland. I was sick last week and couldn't log on at all, and now I can't keep up with Gaia's rapidly-changing economy. Lol, kinda like life in the States.

And thanks! ^.^ Even a serious person like me has to look cute once in a while.

Yeah, I'm thinking of going as either a yeti on summer vacation or a killer death-dragon of DOOM--either way, I figure if I make it good enough, I can maybe make money making costumes for other people. Because of the economy in the US, people aren't really hiring unexperienced workers, which is exactly what I am, so I have to make money however I can whenever possible. If I'm lucky, anime fans/cosplayers will still want quality costumes, even if they cost a little more in the future.

Well, the Loch Ness Monster is supposed to look kinda like a plesiosaurus--a long-necked dinosaur with flippers instead of legs and REALLY sharp teeth--and a Kelpie looks like a horse (usually black or dark grey-green) with seaweed in its mane, and also has really sharp teeth. In mythology, it was really horrible, lived in lakes or swamps, and usually lured people onto its back before dragging them underwater to devour them.

So were those REALLY the last two episodes of the series? We just saw them last Friday, but I couldn't believe it would end like that... If it is, I guess I'll have to go back to the beginning of the series and start over, since there are a LOT of episodes I never saw.

Thanks! I figured I'd let Halloween start a little early this year, lol.

Yeah, me too. I log on every once in a while for daily chance and maybe to stop by the guild, but nothing much other than that.

I'm saving up for a costume in real life, and surprisingly that's one of the more important things to me this year. But on Gaia I'm saving up for Kelp o' the Loch. Did you see the latest evolution? It's actually a Kelpie! Who knew? I was expecting the Loch Ness monster, but they're both from Scotland, so it works.

My parents and I just saw "Turn Left" in the Doctor Who series. Since we're so into sci-fi and understand what's happening when we see these sorts of things, seeing all those stars just winking out like that was quite unnerving. Hasn't got anything on the Weeping Angels or the Vashta Nerada, but it's good to see that the series creators are staying on top of things in the scare department.
