A young student who lives in Tokyo, Urawa was born as one of the reincarnations of the "Seven Legendary Shadows", a group of powerful youma that were sealed away by Queen Serenity at the end of the Silver Millennium. Also inside Urawa is one of the Rainbow Crystals, one of the seven fragments which the Ginzuishou or "Imperium Silver Crystal" shattered into at the end of the Moon Kingdom.
Urawa is a dedicated student, and has a crush on Ami Mizuno. This infatuation mainly stems from his admiration for her academic prowess and the fact that she is his inspiration to become a better student. Urawa is very shy about these feelings, and has never even met Ami as he lives in another school district.
Because of the crystal in his soul, Urawa has the supernatural ability to fortell the future. He appears to have no control over these visions. He also uses them to cheat at his tests, something he is not proud of. Urawa possesses no other above human norm abilities or traits.
