I want to live in a world where e-readers dispense chocolate bars, unicorns are genocidal killing machines, and floating castles are considered a bit ho-hum as accommodations go. I like to write about angsty characters that are multi-dimensional ... personality wise, that is, not like they actually travel through multiple dimensions, although that would be cool too. I find writing more entertaining than watching TV and board games more entertaining than writing. I like bourbon more than scotch but I’m not that picky about it as long as it’s on the rocks. I am picky about wine, but my favorite wine is the one that maximizes the price-to-pleasure ratio… that is, good cheap wine. I think Gencon reigns supreme for gaming conferences. My reflexes are no longer good enough for first person shooters but I’ll occasionally boot up an old game of Quake II just for the nostalgia value. My favorite color is emerald green. My favorite books are the Morgaine Trilogy by C. J. Cherryh, even if I find the way she spells her name kind of strange. The author, I mean. My favorite mathematician is Godel, and I have a whole bunch of thigh-slapping jokes that end with “and it’s NP complete.”
