Siege issue 1 is a lot of set up. As a backdrop to the situation, and for "flavor", I'd suggest downloading Dark Avengers and maybe the past 6 or 7 issues of Thor. I figured you might not want to buy all those comics, so downloading them is a quick and easy fix to snagging them. Also, New Avengers Annual #3 will give you context to the ending of Siege #1.

And yeah, Daredevil is just bad a**. I love that he's got The Hand as his own guided missile. I wonder how he's going to go about "disassembling" them. We'll see, I suppose.

Oh yeah, I have a few issues of Green Hornet. I was a big fan as a kid, and Green Hornet is one of the (many) reasons my favorite color is green. Strange to think of the silly things that influence decisions like that, no? Anyway, yeah seriously, you've been under a goddamn rock. How did you miss hearing about Siege? How about that ******** Daredevil though? It's still ******** good! It's been running so goddamn hard for like 4 years solid. I love when a book just stays strong like that.

Anyway, you might not hear from me for a few days. I'm getting ready to move into my new apartment so I'm going to be scarce online for a day or two. Siege comes out tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and pick it up!

Right now, I've been picking up a lot of Marvel. They've finally got there s**t together again (somewhat). Daredevil and New Avengers never fell off the map, so I'm reading those. I'm getting myself pumped up for Siege this month. Still picking up Invincible and Astounding Wolf-Man. Other than that, I've just been sampling books here and there. Oh and Jesus, Blackest Night is awesome!

actually i havnt told you, but i have a girlfriend, shes is awesome and i love her alot. shes a red head with a sweet side, and shes loves me. we've just had our six month anniversery, this winter will be a year.

And I was reading your "about me" section and I'm with you on The Dark Knight, I didn't enjoy much either. ;_;

I was expecting something so good because of all the fans and hype about it when really I found myself wanting to turn it off and ask myself "WHY?".

Not that Heath Ledger didn't do a great joker, it was just all too overdone sadly.



I miss the REAL Batmobile.
