Denmark: denmark adopted her when she was very young after he established a danish colonie in her country. demarks government also takes care of her foreign affairs, security,financial policy and provides money to her. greenland is part of the nordic countrys and is the only female out of all of the nordics, greenland tried to leave him when germany invaded but decided to force herself to stay even after finland and sweden fled. she didnt have the heart to leave him, since she had been loyal to him for a very long time.
Norway:had a colonie in greenland, around 968 AD , Later was ruled by the kingdom of norway but later fell under denmark's soverignty.
Iceland: had a colonie in greenland around 968 AD as well, but seemed to vanish during the 14th century and 15th century mainly due to famine.

Personalty: Greenland can be very serious at times, but can be very pleasant when she knows someone well. greenland also can get irritated or annoyed very easily, and tends to be kinda bossy when shes around denmark. she also can get angry very easily it just takes some one talking smack about denmark to release her anger.
