First of all, this means he's looking for an excuse... either he wants to leave for his own purposes, or for that of other people (sadly, I suspect women).
That is suspicious... he's up to something. I think he's hiding. Hiding until he has the chance to do something, but I can't say what...
The missing three words there is saying something; His mind is focused on something else... I'm afraid that what I'm saying sounds like it could lead to only one scenario, but unfortunately, it happens... my suspicions are against his faith... I worry he's out with other people... and like I said, namely women... if his behavior and ideas are true, he's not lying and he's doing all he's saying. But given the facts, timing, and situation, he's OBVIOUSLY lying about something...
Your suspicions are true, something is going on. I don't want to assume the worse... but it all points to it... I'm sorry for putting it that way, but that's just how I see it.
