That's true though. But youngsters can't really do anything about the government, on the other hand.

Oh no, I meant your dramatic outfit change. I mean, are you questing something big or what?

Don't think I said anything about it...its a custom skin that you put on your 3DS, kinda like a sticker or whatever.

Well I do know that much. But as you were saying, people attack others for anything they perceive as a flaw, so to a degree, the individual who is attacked plays some role in the problem, because they choose to legitimize the attack in this case with weight, and try to become skinnier. The individual does not have to reinforce the attacks by taking actions on their own part that severe to legitimize the attack. Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me. Those attacks are just words, ones that can be ignored. If someone calls you fat for eating a snack, you don't have to buy into it. The individual is choosing to do so though. They could just walk away. With all mental illnesses really, there are three aspects that play into it. One is genetics, which no one has control over. The second is experiences, and in most cases, mental illnesses are derived from traumatic experiences, such as being neglected as a child, or abused. And third, is the actions of the individual, especially the choices those individuals make. With any illness, we always have a way of trying to contain it, for example through medicine. And in some instances, those distorted thought processes are caused by ourselves, either because we choose to give in to them, do nothing about them, or only legitimize them and feed into them. Some people choose to shrug everything off as whatever or I don't care, and in those cases, I can't feel sorry for them one bit. Only people who try to save themselves and turn back the hands of time, and either get rid of their illness all together, or put it into remission, deserve any praise for having the courage to deal with their struggle. I hate when people whatever to their own problems, instead of actually tackling them. I know I won't live a long life like everyone else. By the time I'm 30, my colon will start to give out on me, and whether I lose the whole thing, or only part, is yet to be determined. I get help though, I take medicine, and I try and continue living with an optimistic look, as if I never had this illness in the first place. I go to college, I'm trying to make something of myself. I go even after I spend half the day throwing up, trying to end my poverty, and make something of myself, instead of hating those who are healthier than me, or those who are richer than me. We are what we are, and we must accept that. If people choose to suffer, knowing very well they can do something, well humanity, and the march of progress, will leave them behind.

Aw, that sucks. =( I don't think my bookshelf was too expensive. I got my desk and bookshelf from Walmart, and had to assemble both, and the dresser and bed were passed down from family.

Well as long as my mom is asleep, she won't hear me in my own room, unless I'm just ridiculously loud, which I never am. But since she and my sister are sleeping, and the walls in my house are paper-thin, I do try and keep quiet as not to wake them.

It's only anorexia if you're purposely starving yourself to achieve and unrealistic body size. If you just don't eat much and look frail, you're just really skinny. And if you don't eat much, and are sick a lot, and look unhealthy, then you may be in my situation, with the digestive illness. So it's either of the three I'd imagine. Of course, no offense to you, I get really pissed at anorexic people, because they choose to starve themselves and lose a lot of weight for some unrealistic standard of "beauty", whereas someone like me has a gastrointestinal disease which makes it hard to keep food down, and as a result of all the vomiting and diarrhea, makes me lose a lot of weight. I like to eat, and enjoy it greatly when I eat the foods I love, and I hate the fact that my disease makes it hard to stomach those foods, and then there's people out there who can eat all the foods they want, but purposely choose not to and I hate it. Those people should have to have my illness, NOT me!
