I'm just popping in a comment as I have semi-returned to Gaia as a way to waste time. Hope you are doing well. Oyster-world was not really that big but I did manage to secure a job with my degree but it's not starting until January (and in something less than hopeful: fraud detection). Then again, the company was one of the few actively looking for people with science PhDs.

I'm not even sure you are still on Gaia but it cannot hurt to post anyway.

Aside from having no life because of PhD thesis write up, things are peachy. Apart from the thesis deadline. It's all good, kinda.
