I'm not a remedial beginner. I've been living in japan since I was born from my mother!. of course you probably dont care because you only think about yourself. I wonder how you can even make friends in Japan with your atitude. Usually if you criticize the boss or for example the OP (me) then you would get fired or get a penalty. so whatev. but Im going to ask you ONE MORE TIME!! ARE WE GOING TO STOP THE CRITICIZING AND BE FRIENDS OR WHAT?? just answer that.

I hope you know the answer to this, or rather make it so that I know it is correct.

Akari is said to be the older form of the current form Hikari, correct? (Both means light I believe.. or at least I definitely know Hikari means light.)

Heheh, my name is not all too common considering I have more of a traditional Chinese name. Like I said in the OP, more traditional Chinese names tend to have a surname-generation name-given name (in that order) for their full name.

The generation name is often given to the child to show generation order (grandfather > father > son(maybe daughter depending on the family) > grandson... etc.)

The reason why my name is so uncommon is because the generation names makes it more uncommon

Though searching online for Eitoku, I found a famous Japanese painter, and an era in Japan (though I don't know much about Japanese history... if you do, you can enlighten me about it O.~)

Forever Virtue is something a lot more different than First son, second son, third son, and cheery blossom O.~.

Though I'm not from China, I have both a Chinese name (informal in the states) and an English Name.
