Welcome to my profile. My name is Fateful Demise. Music is my life. I'll listen to almost anything. I hate stereotypes, although I do catch myself putting people into stereotypes on occasion. I find sarcasm to be a lovely little literary invention. If you haven't already noticed from my page, I am an amateur poet. And yes, these are all my works, I did not copy them from a website. If I call, will you come?
When I cried, have you come to my side?
If I'm alone, would you talk to me?
When I'm dying, will you save me?

I thought I knew once,
The answer to this question.
I never doubted our friendship, our trust.
We never let the other down,
Never thought for a minute,
That this alliance, trust, agreement, bonding,
Fellowshipping, friendship
Would ever come to an end.

Why now?
Why all of the sudden?
Did you wake up one day and find yourself thinking
That this pact we made was nothing?
That all the laughs, tears, stories, and secrets
Was not worth keeping?

Did you ever truly see how much those times meant to me?
And do you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe,
Those were the things that kept me going on?

I look back on those times fondly,
Back not-so-long ago.
Back to a time when
I'd call and you would come.
I cried, and you were by my side.
I'd be alone, and you would talk to me.
And I knew that when I was dying,
You would save me.

My Casual Attire

Under the Veil of Darkness

The sun steps down off its grand throne,
And the moon takes watch over the earth,
Her eyes ever-watchful for the thieves of the night.

Their greed and lust soiling the ground they creep on,
The earth dying at the hands of immorality.
Forever tainted by the touch of those
Sworn to the advancement of evil and death.

The Protector of the Night watches carefully,
Keeping her keen eyes open for the monstrosities of her realm.
She sees their evil and hears their tainted thoughts,
Twisted and misshapen by the error of humanity,
And the longing of their own hearts.

And with the rising of the sun,
The King of Light,
The Night Queen steps off her throne
And reports of the evening's atrocities,

So the Emperor of the Sky may rain justice down on the earth,
To cleanse it of those monsters who threaten Mother Earth's domain.

And so it is
That with every new day,
Justice is served.
And with every night,
New monstrosities come to steal life and gold.

But Lady Moon is ever-watchful,
Always diligent in her watch
In her quest to end evil and immorality,
And protect Mother Earth and her inhabitants
For all eternity.
