You can't remove the lock from the zOMG rings. They tweaked the game because people were making money out of zOMG, by selling valuable loot drops such as rings, ring polishers (instead of buying them with cash, see...), etc. So, ever since that tweak every new ring you get from enemy drops or finishing quests is now soulbound to you and cannot be sold. People can only sell in the marketplace those rings they got from the game BEFORE the tweak, and which they never got to equid.
