I see. I confess that, ironically, religion just made my self-esteem go down the toilet. I guess it was due that I should "renounce the world and its passions" and I was constantly preached to that I was nothing but a sinner who if it wasn't by a certain Imaginary Friend in the skies, I'd go straight for Hell, like the "monster" I was.
Yeah, and there went 8 years of my life that I'll never get back. Thanks for nothing, guys. rolleyes

Anyway, in 2011, I started to free myself from all this clusterf**k once I stopped to think and question about all this. Since then, my self-esteem has improved a lot thanks to not only self-help websites like TinyBuddha but also the Atheism, Agnosticism, and Skepticism ideals.

Wow, sounds like you are very busy indeed. I'm glad that, for the most part, things have been going well for you. biggrin I know what you mean about the heat, this whole past week was scorching hot. I was happy to wake up to a lovely thunderstorm this morning though. It was soothing; even if I was up at seven.
I've been busy too. I have a summer job, and I absolutely loath it. I can't wait for August 30th, as it is my final day on the job. I will stick with it, of course, as funds are necessary. Otherwise, I've been spending most of my time asleep, as work drains me. Haha. This summer makes me feel old. xD
