just checking in to say hi!
USS Sherry Report | 02/20/2018 9:26 pm
The moment Vector was standing up straight, Sherry's gaze flickered back to her superior when HUNK began to speak, his words were directed towards her and her alone- which caused Vector to loosen his posture, but still be standing straight. It was natural for her to want to protest, but more natural to immediately want to agree... not that she was given much of a chance as HUNK turned away to leave. There was a moment of silence before this blue-haired female began to speak. A small chuckle left Vector's lips, causing Sherry to immediately shoot him a glare, "Do you find something funny a*****e." He only continued a moment longer before shaking his head and raising his heads. "Oh no, no, not at all. Just like HUNK said- have fun with this one, Bird kid. I've heard plenty about this one." He was quick to step back from Sherry, knowing all too well the female could easily strike out at him and take him by surprise if he didn't make space between the two. "Anyway, Sherry, I'll see you around... you should probably get to know her." And just like that, the only company Sherry could see herself enjoying for the day had turned and made an exit of the room within seconds. How was it everyone else knew of this ... brat and she knew absolutely nothing. She remained standing there for a moment longer, staring at where Vector had exited- debating on how she would attempt to get him back for the encouragement of a shitty nickname before first allowing her eyes to move back in the woman's direction before finally turning her head. She... looked nothing like other agents here and that damn behavior was definitely not something that many would get away with. So who was she? Tall, thin, almost too thin- but many would probably say the same about Sherry as well. This woman looked like someone who lacked training too... and HUNK did give her orders to go all out on her... with basic training at least. "First, don't call me that." Now she would finally respond, "If I hear Bird Kid leave your lips along with anyone else" she said this when she caught the glimpse of Vector peeking into the room once more, "I'll knock your teeth out." Her eyes weren't even on the girl at the moment, but once she turned them back she felt... awkward. Birkin had never been assigned to train, not unless she was nearby and needed to take over temporarily. "You'll address me as Agent Birkin, or Sherry if you even lack the respect to call me by my last name. Which honestly, wouldn't surprise me." She crossed her arms looking at the woman, up and down before making direct eye contact again, her gaze was cold despite how uncomfortable she was with this entire situation. "Second, who the hell is Max and why are you addressing me abo-..." Max. Now that name sounded familiar. And... she actually recalled that moment, not that she was the one who pulled the trigger, she had just been there to witness it. "Will you go already!" She faked it, pretending Vector had still been there and took a few threatening steps towards the door to pull of the act before directing her attention back to the woman... Chloe. Chloe Price, yes. Now it all made sense. "I'll inform you, but only if you can make your way up that rock climbing. Very top. Only then, will I tell you." No way she was going to tell her face to face, if even at all. Frustration could drive someone, dreaded new could drive or cripple someone, and Sherry couldn't afford a crippled agent.... Were they really going to try making her an agent?
USS Sherry Report | 02/17/2018 10:38 pm
(For Chloe)
A small huff left the blonde's lips as she had just managed to step out of the way of Vector's bull rush, she had seen him to it to other agents. The rush always knocked everyone to the ground, before Vector would slide himself on top and place a blade to their necks to show- he had, in fact, one the training session. But with the observation of the man for years, she had figured out some of his little tricks, and would often use this to her own advantage. A warm chuckle passed his lips followed by a "Damn it." A smile was plastered on Sherry's face when he turned to face her again, his hands in the air as if he were admitting defeat. But she knew better, Vector didn't give up so easily, he never did. It wasn't often Sherry Birkin would ... roughhouse, or as they would quickly state if anyone were to see them as 'one on one training' which... was kind of true if anyone thought about it long and hard enough. It was interesting to the other's though, the two apart were some of the most serious agents, put them alone in a room long enough and they actually behaved somewhat like friends. After all, the two were side by side when being trained by HUNK, and when HUNK wasn't around, the two were left with one another. "Wait, what's that?" His tone had been serious enough for Sherry to pull out of her thoughts and turn to look before an "Ooof." Passed her lips when the male came from behind her, arms wrapped around her neck attempting to get a good enough grip on when this one. The two had been so distracted they hadn't heard the door open to the room, and with enough effort of Sherry's half, she managed to lift the male off the ground by leaning forward before using her strength to grab his arms and toss him over her shoulder. "s**t." He groaned moments before hearing the clearing of a throat. They were both familiar with that voice and that tone. Immediately Sherry stood up straight, while Vector whipped himself off the ground to stand just as straight beside her. "Sir." They both said, their eyes glued to their superior before Sherry's gaze had curiously shifted to the side to get a better look at the woman he had brought in with him. Blue hair, tall, thin... definitely no one she had seen before. Why was HUNK here with her?
USS Sherry Report | 02/15/2018 5:37 pm
As usual, Sherry remained completely silent when in the vision or presence of her superior. There was no need for idle chit-chat, and often times when she had tried doing this before other agents pointed out that it simply made the blonde look as though she was nervous. Truth be told, she wasn't scared of these agents anymore. She started as nothing and became something, maybe not the top best yet, HUNK remained, but she was definitely ahead of the others. But this wasn't a bragging type contest, she was in the building at all times on business, she trained for business, and when she spoke, it was business. The innocent little girl that had been brought through the doors of Umbrella, crying and sniffling over the loss of her parents was gone. Perhaps somewhere she still resided in Sherry, but she was never to be seen again. If anything, she was now a hard shell, trained and raised to be a killing machine under the orders of Umbrella or her supervisor. When approaching the door she made sure to stay out of his way and follow his orders offering a small nod when he disappeared inside the room before coming out with two bags for her to pack away their equipment. His glare would cause her to wince inside, but offer a nod, he had always been rough on her- she expected no less from the man. Mr. Death, Doctor Death, he held many names and for good reason. He didn't survive Raccoon City playing nice and being gentle. He was ruthless and did whatever it took in order to survive. Survival isn't easy when all odds are against you, zombies, monsters formed from large strains of a virus- her father, mad scientist- her mother, and mercenaries who were hired against Umbrella. All of these were in his way, yet he survived and even carried her out of the mess as well. As these thoughts had been filling her mind, her hands were already on the job, carefully packing each item and making sure there was enough room for everything he had already chosen as well as room for more if ever needed. She aimed to please, he saved her and made her something more than a lab rat. It was when the two began to move once again did something actually catch her attention, it was the pills he drew out, and his explanation left an eerie chill running down her spine as she extended her hand to take the bottle. Cyanide capsules... huh. Sherry knew people were weak, including the new agents, but she could see herself enduring pain and die with the secrets of Umbrella if needed."I see." With that much being said she placed the pills into the small pouch of her holster before continuing to follow after him after grabbing her own bag. A soft sigh passed her nose until the two of them had stopped, oh... gearing up would be best. Sherry found herself trying to hold back a smile at how such a thing could easily slip her mind when tailing after HUNK, "Alright," With that, the female took off to her own room where her equipment stayed. Her gear wasn't as heavy as other agents, she was agile and moved as such, her fabric was thinner, more clinging to the body but still held the protection she needed when being out on the field. For only a moment she stared at her gas mask before rolling her eyes and snagging it in hand to place it on, with how soon time was flying it was better to have it equipped and ready for use than later. Once she was fully geared she found herself speed walking through the halls to meet HUNK in the main lobby.
USS Sherry Report | 02/12/2018 11:20 pm
Over the years it had become a habit of the blonde woman to wake up before the sunlight of day even arisen. It was something embedded in her mind from when she first agreed to join the USS team, people would bang on her door at ungodly times to begin her training. And of course, after enough times of her forcefully being awoken she began waking up on her own time with plenty of time to get ready and wait outside her door or even in the training room for whoever was taking on training her when HUNK was far too busy. Just as she did today, but because it was HUNK she was training with she made damn sure the night before she got plenty of sleep, and in the morning got plenty of water to stay hydrated, because when that man trained her, he made damn sure to exhaust her to a breaking point- to which she was often close to collapsing before he would call it good. A part of Sherry wondered if he purposely did it if he knew she was close but didn't break her just so she could build up and be stronger than the last time. For a moment she pondered on that thought before dismissing it. She stood, her arms crossed over her chest. It was odd but nice to be out of the thick uniform. Black tank top, and black jogging pants with black boots, it was a breath of fresh air to not be wearing it, but that only lasted for so long before agents had to switch into those for other types of training. Being alone in rooms like this almost reminded her of times when she has stripped away, in pain but yet not reacting. Back then Sherry knew she had given up, yet HUNK saw something in her, enough to take her and breath life into her once again... even if those means weren't the sweetest of ways. Either way, she held mad respect for the man, and often followed and obeyed any orders that were given and participated in some of the most agonizing types of training. Today was suppose to be hand to hand- which was terrifying and exciting. To be that close to such a dangerous man that was her superior, her supervisor. Hearing steps in the empty room immediately drew her attention, her posture changed to stand up straight when seeing HUNK. The hearing of canceling was almost disappointing, but she held her breath and continued to listen to the male. They... were going to put her in another outbreak? Chills ran up and down her spine, he was letting her go with? "Yes, sir." But why? Sherry wasn't sure if this was a test from Umbrella themselves, or HUNK himself... or both. Either way, it seemed like a lot of pressure but she would do this mission. She would follow these orders and do her best. For him. For the company.

Lightning Eclair Report | 05/26/2016 10:28 pm
After 3 years of living on this planet, and an extra more working with the Turks, Lightning was more than aware that their job was all based on doing the dirty work for the company of Shinra. Her superiors often kept her doing small task to remain hidden from the human eye; simply because even as she tried to pull of the dumb mind loss; they were more than aware that she was different, and did not come from the planet, but her loyalty to them kept them from trying out experiments on her. Not only that but the female had made it more than clear that if such an action were to try; she wouldn't hold back breaking hell loose on them and not going down without a fight. But now something had stirred the company; many agents such as Reno, Rude, Cissnei and even Tseng were on the hunt for a SOLDIER who had escaped one of their labs; now wanted by the Turks was being searched for. Weeks went by, as Lightning watched the chase, almost disappointed with how many errors she could calculate on how they kept missing the target, and how one of them continued to let them slip away without even giving the SOLDIER a fight. But who that was would remain a secret on her half, no need to get a good worker fired for having feelings. Something that a few of the Turks could easily be mistaken as not having, but that wasn't the case, a job was a job and it needed to be done. It's what brought the cash in, promotions and respect to keep coming in. Finally the search becoming too much; Lightning was assigned the job, she even took it upon herself to immediately get going where she knew the SOLDIER would be, before Cissnei could. A place all of them knew to look but wouldn't be able to get there as quickly as Lightning could; his home town. Yes, Zack Fair seemed like the foolish type to go there first, and to say the least...he was. She stood behind a tree, facing where his parents would be, inside his home, just in time to hear a engine roll in, just in time for the female to look back and see none other than the male, and his friend, both matching the pictures on the file that had been shown to her. Light had never directly met a SOLDIER, probably because of being hidden away and only doing the small task that were offered her and there; or at least if a large one making sure it went unnoticed. But whether she met one or not she was more than aware of the strength they carried, something that would sway few away or pass up doing their job like this. But not for her, it was almost enough to make the pink haired woman smile; she once hated, but respected a man who was reckless when it came to doing his work, but yet here she was; putting herself in the same situation. Her icy blues followed him, watching him speak to the young blonde...who seemed unresponsive; spiking curiosity but immediately brushing it to the side as when he passed her tree she stepped out “Zack Fair, 1st Class SOLDIER, or at least was,” She started keeping her distance but close enough to keep up in chase if needed “Home would have been the first place we would have looked you know?” Her head gestured to his home not too far from where they stood “Runaways tend to have this habit of going home; it's a place of security and comfort, it's easy to read.” Lightning crossed her arms a bit as she walked more out into the sunlight “Why don't you make my job a little easier and come by choice, or is this going to have to be done by force?” The female was both equipped for firing a gun; which would be last resort seeing how Tseng wanted him brought back alive, but she was also equipped with a sword; where damage could be done enough to maybe weaken him enough to get backup in to grab him and get going afterwards.
ff7Aerith Gainsb0r0ugh Report | 05/10/2016 6:11 am
Humming to herself, Aerith crouched careful among her flowers tending to them making sure each one gained the light equally. Spaning many hours each day tending to their growth from single flower from home to a lovely patch now.
Rey Nobody Report | 05/05/2016 6:34 pm
Aerith often stayed in her church, tending to her flowered...selling very few here and there all thanks to the idea from someone who meant so much to her...someone who had passed on years ago. Exactly four years had passed since she had been in the church tending to her flowers when the rain came in...and the feeling of his life slipping away, only shortly afterwards to be told that Zack Fair had died in battle. It was a sickening feeling being told such a thing. Having someone like him, gone. From the beginning when they first met Zack was someone different, someone she had a connection with; he was sweet, kind, and was someone who kept in contact with her before even knowing what she was. Thinking she was a normal person he still kept in contact with her like she was important to him. Just as she did with him. It took time to get herself back together after being told he was gone...it was something hard to grasp; how a smiling face as gentle as his could be in exsistance and then gone within seconds...unable to even say goodbye to him. Over the years she had many visit her, check in to make sure she was doing fine; she always offered a smile and reassurance that she was fine. Slowly she was fine, but a piece of her was in pain when she thought about him too long. Aerith pulled herself out of her thoughts with that in mind, she knelt down to her flowers, a hand gently running over the top of a lily. This was somewhere where she could be at ease, in peace...and even. Her mind trailed as her gaze moved up to the hole in the church's cieling, a small smile pulled to her lips. An angel had fallen through there into her flowers once; when offered to have it fixed she kindly denied. It was a mark Zack left, it was when the two had first met and she'd make sure it remained there. Aerith's hand slowly pulled away from her lily as she felt a small drop of rain touch her hand, causing her to glance up at the sky. Exactly four years, and it was raining, it almost made her heart sink as she stood slowly and walked to her flower cart, it was time to head home. She pushed the cart before completely stopping...she could sense something...no someone outside the church but at this point she wasn't sure who or what it was. It made her remain still, her eyes focused on the door of the church to see if someone was going to enter or walk away. Aerith moved away from her cart moving to the flowers on the church floor, standing while facing the door, her hands holding each other in front of her as she waited for something to happen. She could almost feel hesition coming from whoever stood outside, causing her to call out to make sure she wasn't getting confused or letting her emotions get the best of her "Hello?"
