Space. The final frontier...Everything was going good. I made it through the Academy; I wasn't top of my class but I thought I did alright. Then I was recommended for duty on the USS Enterprise. Upon starting they gave me this red shirt. One of the blue shirts looked at me and whispered something to another blue shirt, and they frowned and shook their head. A yellow shirt overheard and laughed. Then I saw some cash exchange hands and the yellow shirt said "Two weeks."
After that, I started and there were cameras on the ship. I was beamed down with another Ensign and Captain James Kirk, who left me to guard the entrance to some place and stay in contact with the ship. Seconds later I was thrown into a bottomless pit... I think the first blue shirt got the cash.
Stardate: Whatever a few days ago was.
I seem to have been transported to some alternate dimension and I think I'm a leprechaun.
