Treating others like you want to be treated is not only a Christian principle.
People who try to change your beliefs probably aren't very sure of their own.
If I don't agree with someone I'll at least listen. Nod and smile treatment is what I call it. I listen but I say very little.

No one is normal and I've encountered a lot of people with the same views.
I do not attack religions because
1. I think it's wrong.
2. I typically don't share my beliefs with too many people, I believe they should be kept close to the heart and not shared too willy nilly.
3. I've had way too many pick at my beliefs I'm tired of it and I don't want to put others in the same position.

But if someone happened to find out one or more of my beliefs I would either do my best to ignore their stupidity or defend it to Hel.
