I’m a genetically engineered bio-weapon and young girl from the manga Black Cat. I use nanotechnology to transform my body. At this point I can only change my arm, but I am supposed to be able to transform my body when I grow. I have to picture something to do it. Raised like a lab rat, Sven treats me like a real person and opens up my world.
Eve in the manga
I’m a young girl known to be 11 years old. I was cloned from Professor Tearju Lunatique. I was designed as the ultimate soldier, having been injected with nanomachines that allow me to change my body's shape and composition at will. Examples of this are turning my arms into blades, hammers and shields, turning my own skin into steel, sprouting wings, and firing feathers at ranged opponents. My hair is my best weapon, as I can turn it into fists (or later, into monofilament blades) that attack with blurring speed. I was raised by Torneo Rudman (an influential dealer in the underground weapons market) to be an emotionless killing machine. However, Sven rescues me and teaches me how to live by my own choices. Now I travel with Sven and Train. I seem to perceive Train as a rival, wanting to replace him as Sven's partner, but this is done for Sven's attention. Additionally, I love reading, and can remember everything in a book after reading it once. One of my most noteworthy transformations is into a mermaid, during my battle against Leon Elliott at Clarken Island.
Eve in the anime
I do not seem to have the intense rivalry with Train as I did in the manga. This is most likely because due to the anime's altered timeline of events, I actually ended up joining Sven before Train does. Although in the anime I never display the urge to replace Train as Sven's partner, I’m still highly competitive with him, which is shown on many occasions when I would try to catch a criminal before he does. It is hinted in the anime that I could have 'romantic interest' in Sven. In addition, there is foreshadowing in the anime that I was cloned from Tearju Lunatique, as Tearju has appeared in the anime as a hospitalized patient with the same hair as mine. After Creed's defeat in Clarken Island I was captured by Mason's Zero Numbers who then uses me to start the Eden project. Mason had arranged for Sven to capture me when the accident at Torneo's mansion occurred, so he would raise me well, as I saw Sven as the ideal paternal figure, taking away the supposed "romantic interest" in him. That way, Mason could use me when I was mature enough to implant me in the Eden machine that would create the monstruous creature that is shown in the Anime, which would bring "world peace" by absorbing every single person in the world, turning them into lobotomized creatures incapable of thought other than obeying Mason and his team. I do not resonate with Eden, as I was stopped in the final stage by Sven and Train, who rescue me.
