Erestor, the High Counselor
Erestor is an Elf of Rivendell, and Lord Elrond's chief Counselor. Not much has been recorded regarding his history, other than that he is one of the Noldor, and was present at the Council of Elrond. It was Erestor who said that the One Ring must either be hidden or unmade, and that the latter path was one of despair.
As far as his personality goes, the Counselor isn't the most sociable creature, and is most often seen cloistered away in Rivendell's library or his own chambers, buried in books and manuscripts. Occasionally, however, one can find him wandering the gardens, as he has a certain affinity for plants. Words aren't Erestor's strong point, but pay attention to any flower or sprig he may leave behind. They often have quite a lot to say.

Anyhow, I heard you thought it's too quiet - in my opinion it's too noisy! I just had to put up with 7 people asking me to donate at the same time.
