I knew from the moment the police arrived that they would not believe the truth. My parents and everyone else claims that Mr Jones died of natural causes, even though the facts pointed towards the obvious truth- he was murdered in him sleep. I looked around the room franticly, and discovered that there was a large kitchen knife covered is someone’s or something’s blood. I was in trouble, deep trouble.

It was up you us to solve this murder. Kelly, Gemma and I began to plan how we could track down out man. We sat down and started to think, about what we could do to get this man. There must be something we could do. And then it suddenly came to me. We could say we are going to meet him with the money we owe him, but call the police on him. Then it suddenly dawned on me that if we did that then we would be getting our selves in trouble. We couldn’t think of anything to do!

Everything was going well. We had pieced together all the evidence and then, when we were least expecting it, my bedroom door crashed open. There stood a large man with a small knife in his hand scared, I felt behind me looking for something that could scare him away. I picked up a fork, that wasn’t going to do much. I felt for something else but couldn’t get anything. I was running out of time he was getting closer and closer. I started to panic! Suddenly I felt something hard. I picked it up and threw it. The object hit him and smashed into a thousand pieces. I took my chance and ran, blocking the door behind me with everything I could find.

Our man was trapped. We had all the clues in place. Now we had to catch him before he did it again. I went to the bedroom where we had him caught, but stopped just outside it. I picked up the pole that was placed next to the door. I entered and looked around franticly. He was laid on the bed with the keys in his hands. I picked up the pole and held it above his head. He let go of the keys and they fell on the floor. I picked them up and left the room. We had finely got them. We could save our friends.
