About Emma . . .
Went on leave from my job, focusing on ART, can you believe it? I can't. *deep breaths as she battles existential crisis* Made an instagram. So, that's cute. I have FOUR COMMISSIONS. Shoes, 2 jeans, and a shirt. <3 <3 Terrified and excited. Les'go. Me against the world. Now, for sleep~
With love (and wishful peace)

So this is kinda like a diary entry, comparing who I was 2 years ago at the age of 18, to who I am now. I'm still working on my MSW, 3 years into college, my first obstacle is an Associate and a Bachelor's, trying to decide on my anticipated school. I still game, I wish more often. I've recently started Roller Derby since January, and started up my Facebook page, I've been at my job for two years now, I'd like to focus primarily on my art, I hope it picks up. Writing a book has always been on my mind, day by day.
Volunteering has also been made a priority, along with time for family. A hundred things (learning ASL) at once, mix in some roleplay writing and it's quite a mess.
God bless, take care <3

I am Emma Nightingale, an explanation for my username is: Emma, a name I like and is similar to my own; Nightingale, many references, including songs, Skyrim, and many others.
I am in my second semester of community college, working on an Associates in Arts. I am aiming for a Masters in Social Work (MSW), after going into a four year college, that's unless God has other plans for me. I wish to work with children, families, and veterans.
I am eighteen years old with an ambition to travel, a dream of a profitable hobby in writing and drawing (perhaps children books?), and a life filled with gratitude. I enjoy writing, reading, drawing, gaming, taking walks, poetry, playing acoustic guitar, and listening (I'm usually all ears unless in a bad mood). I do well in talking when I feel comfortable, but I'm a bit of an introvert and don't care for conversation with people in the "real" world, the thought of ulterior motives both intrigues and scares me.
I enjoy pretty much all music that doesn't de-humanize or objectify women, I'm a bit of a feminist (*GASP* "You are working towards equality? You fiend!" wink . At the moment, Macklemore is a very intriguing subject to listen to.
I have worked for months to obtain white (or at least platinum-blonde, when the toner dies out) hair and enjoy coloring it with hair chalk every now and then. My hair is pretty much a blank canvas that I can wash out and recolor every day or whenever I feel like it and I love it. =)
I am working to understand and live my life by the word of God.
Have a wonderful day and God bless. <3
