None of those are short films, but I have a great film short - One Rat something, on Imagemakers, a PBS series that's a set of film short contest winners that changes several times a year and is used as filler on PBS stations - probably also is available online. It's super - a field rat chases a Cheetos bag through a wind vent into a lab with a robot that marks weighs and cages lab rats. Gray rat and Cheetos bag crash the bot, and gray rat meets white rat - true love! But as they try to escape, she hesitates and is caught inside, with him outside. It's so cute, I watch it over and over. Not a horror film, but some of the shorts are sort of noir, many have subtitles, and many defy categoriation.

Oh, my! I saw one potboiler about napalm, a really old one. Don't think they called it napalm, tho, was supposed to be an invasion from outer space. 13 Screaming Girls was pretty bad but hilarious, about a girls' school and everybody shrieking. That played with A Comedy of Terrors - which you really should see. It's a classic, I think with Cesar Romero and Vincent Price. It's a comedy, but a comedy horror film, and excellent - it just fit into no specific genre, so got largely overlooked outside the film industry.

Yes! Someone who saw it! I saw it again a few years later and was telling my friend how good it was - she was on edge & I wasn't - and there came that hand with the bloody fingernails around the corner - and I grabbed her and she went up about 2 feet in the air! Electrifying moment!

Have you seen the Fall of the House of Usher from about 1960? A lot of the creepy scenes are done in blue - it's riveting!
