Electra's mother was a witch who went to the DWMA as a spy and her father was a miester who ended up falling for her mother , they got married in europe and had two kids, electra's older sister reven who was born a witch unknowningly, and electra who was born as a miester. when reven turned 12 her magic talent started to appear and her father soon realized that the woman he had married wasnt who he thought she was, and soon engaged in a huge battle with his wife while reven watched in silence, the two ended each others lifes,and reven fleed the scene by changing herself into a raven.
,at the time electra was at her orienttion for begining miester school,when she returned home she stumbled upon the bloody bodys of her parents who had fought to the death, and
