As a human I was born and grew up in Toledo, Spain. My mother Maria sadly, died giving birth to me and my Father Peter had to raise me by himself. My Father was a butcher and a blacksmith. He worked both jobs to get me a great eduacation. I was an avid reader and wanted to learn every language I could.By the time I graduated from high school,I mastered italian,french,english,and greek. When my father got older and was unable to work both jobs I worked as a tutor in grammer and literature to help pay for my college eduacation. When I was in college I majored in languages and literature. After my Father died and I finished my studies I moved to Florence,Italy and became a professor in Philology. After many years I became well-known in my profession and became a translator as well as a professor.Life was good.One day I got a letter from a man named Aro Volturi. He requested my services as a translator and offered me a large sum of money to do so. I traveled to Volterra, Italy and arrived at the Volterra building for our meeting.
I remember that the building was incredibly cold. I could see my breath. No one seemed to be effected by it besides me. A young woman in a cloak escorted me to the meeting room. I stood in a large somewhat empty room and was greeted by three men who sat in large chairs. One was Aro Volturi, he greeted me warmly and introduced me to his collegues Marcus and Caius. All three men seemed a bit strange but who was I to judge the men that I was going to work for. Aro shook my hand and began to speak of a proposition. He explained that he has been observing and did not bring me to be a translator. He said he wanted to offer me so much more. He offered me the gift of eternal life. A chance to have infinite knowledge, as I could continue my studies instead of growing old and dying. He said I had a talent deep inside that he desperately needed. I wasn't sure what he meant but I did like the promise of eternal life. It was so tempting. Never grow old, never stop acquiring knowledge. To see the world change through the decades as I remain the same. After much consideration of what I would be leaving behind and what I would be gaining, I agreed.
After a few days I was a newborn vampire aching for that first drop of blood to touch my eager lips. Aro graciously taught me the ways of the vampire himself. They had a whole staff of guards and some of them didn't take to kindly to me because of the attention I got from Aro. One of them being Demetri a smug young vampire in the volturi guard. He was an incredible tracker but a bit of a brute and somewhat lacking in intelligence. He would always challenge me to fights and lose due to his inability to think before me moves. He just attacks and never dodges or strategizes. Either way I grew to like my new life. I was Aro's best guard and able to study and gain knowledge til the end of the ages.
After a mouth we had been called to the area, as England, invaded certain parts of Normandy, in their on-going conflict with the French. Of course, Vampires were behind the attack, and they were creating chaos, and uprooting all the ethics the Trio hold dear.The clan never anticipated collecting another member, but during a particularly bloody battle, I, sensed a very powerful ability close by.I explained to the Trio, that this ability, already in play as a human, enabled the person who held it, to always be able escape and be virtually undiscoverable when hidden, an important trait if needed in a losing battle.Aro, immediately wanted this power in his collection and instructed me to find this human with the extraordinary ability and transform it into a Vampire.I found her hiding, quivering in a small bush,I picked her up and I brought her back to Volterra were I changed her .When she awoke we found out her name.Corin.She became one of the Volturi Guards
