You're welcome! I also recommend the Sirantha Jax series by Ann Aguirre. I'm on the third of four books right now, and loving it--and that's coming from a girl who doesn't usually read Sci-Fi. The first book is Grimspace.

If you have any good Fantasy recs for me--or Sci-Fi ones that aren't "hard" sci-fi, I'd appreciate it!

Since I'm here, and you say you like reading, I'd also like to recommend a few fantasy books you should read (if you haven't already): the Chronicles of Chaos trilogy by John C. Wright, and the Kingkiller Chronicle series by Patrick Rothfuss.
