You can watch videos to earn it, or do certain offers. A lot of the offers are shady though, so be careful.
And on each tab, each day, you get one daily chance. It is the little TV icon up top, under home, my gaia, shops, forums, world, and game.
You click it and watch a video to earn GC.

Of course you can. And you can use the gold in the marketplace (under the shops tab up top) or in the gold shops (can look through them in the shops tab, under shop directory) and then look in your invo under the my Gaia tab, and then once on invo page, hit the special tab, and you can open the three fish drops. Click your avatar at the top to be taken to your dress room, so you can put on or take off items you choose.
