It’s your birthday, and you’re not here. A thousand messages. A thousand feelings. A thousand things left unsaid. As a big sister with a little brother, I was admittedly annoyed with how much responsibility us older siblings are given. We get annoyed and assume younger sibling are going to annoy us into old age, as they should. We’re usually paid back by being able to be there for their successes and being able to give them a little s**t, telling their girlfriends and boyfriends embarrassing s**t they did, the smirk of being right when they do something stupid and when they get in trouble. Your birthday reminds me of our childhood memories from years ago. How much I looked up to you, I bet you didn't know. Despite our misunderstandings you have always been so nice to me the priceless value of a brother like you, I now see. Happy birthday.
