no no it wasn't your fault at all! i have ptsd and when certain subjects come up i just start getting terrified that i'll end up re-living the same experiences again. anyway, never mind that. *brushes topic away* i like your red dragon on your avatar 4laugh

i'm still having trouble adjusting to the economy here, with things that used to be expensive now being 1 plat in the mp, and stuff that was unaffordable last time i saw it is now under 1k an just, my gosh. i don't know what the value of anything is anymore burning_eyes sure there's still some stuff that's ridiculously priced/inflated/whatever but for the most part i'm amazed at what nice looking stuff you can get for super cheap. back in the old days you could tell the noobs/poors by their ugly avatars but these days it's hard to judge how much anybody costs just by looking at them, and what they cost now probably isn't what they actually paid for it at the time

i don't remember exactly what was said at the time, i just remember getting uncomfortable with the conversation and afraid of what you would say and just sort of ran away >>;

haven't been on gaia in a few months. my s/o wanted us to come back and when he commented on my profile here he saw your comment and told me what it said and was all like 'the person is being really nice, you don't have to be scared' and whatever lol >>;

yeah people like to lump trans people and non-binary together but it's actually the opposite. i got so tired of "well you don't want to be called she and you're not a he so you're an it" and people just saying "they" or something neutral because they knew i wasn't comfortable with she but they didn't want to use he. i hate being turned into a nothing like that. so then other people who want to be neutral on purpose, well, yeah it's a completely conflicting opposite. there's people saying everyone should avoid pronouns for everyone no matter who they are, out of fairness for the non-binaries, but i worked hard to earn the right to be called 'he' and don't want people turning that into something neutral to be polite to someone else. i donno english is just stupid i guess. you can't treat everybody fairly because that means treating everyone the same and people aren't the same. i don't know what you're supposed to do about it except just ask everyone you meet what they want to be called, and here i am sick and tired of people not being able to tell what i am because i don't pass well enough. i want people to assume the right gender and treat me like a normal guy while other people don't want anyone to assume anything or they wanna be in-between.

not to mention they have been hacked before. if my gaia gets hacked then well i lose i bunch of pixel items. if your facebook gets hacked, they have your real name, address, phone number, etc... i told my mom not to use that "log in with facebook" option for like ebay, paypal, stuff like that cuz then if they hack your facebook they can log in with your ebay/etc and buy whatever they want under your name

i'm transgender and no one wanted to accept/acknowledge that in real life so online was the only place that anybody would accept me as a guy because they couldn't see me/hear me/etc, they couldn't hear any rumors or anything, they only knew what i told them and they accepted that. about a year ago i ran into one of my teachers at wal-mart and she was said she'd just been talking about me to one of the other teachers just recently and wondering about me and they were like "i bet she's on facebook" but they looked me up and couldn't find me and i'm like yeah, see, that's exactly why i don't have one. first of all if you're looking for the old name before i changed it + looking for a girl you're not going to find me anyway. i had trouble with one person from real life where we both had deviant art accounts and they were going around referring to me as she and so on and confusing people and i had to have a talk with them about that. i don't have any interest in anything that is focused on your real-life info and making it so real-life people who know your history can track you down. i don't even put my picture online

yeah, exactly, facebook/discord took over everything :/ and i want nothing to do with facebook cuz it asks for your irl information and wont let you sign up with a fake name. i remember when the internet was new and everyone was being warned NOT to put your actual address/real name/etc online, and now these days it's required? like everything asks for you phone number now and i still remember the days when you would NEVER put your phone number online

i preferred to stay away from discord because most people were using it for voice chat. seems now more people are using it for more than just that but i don't like how people these days basically just expect everyone to voice chat instead of type, especially on mmo's. i get that it's convenient for normal people but it's really uncomfortable for those with hearing/speaking/gender issues and forces you to either lie or admit to being disabled or "different" and worry about how people will react/treat you with things that otherwise would never be brought up or even noticed at all

i dont remember what we were talking about but yeah, it used to be so chatty here and now nobody ever finds me D: like with accounts like this, i used to get lots of "i love ___ character" comments and such but these days that never happens anymore. it's strangely silent :/ and i never was much into towns and forums even back then so i donno why people found me then but not now. i used to go around commenting profiles a lot and i dont do that so much anymore, but mostly cuz it got to a point that everyone i commented didn't reply/wasn't active anymore

oh, thank you. i made that a few months ago. i visited yours earlier and thought about commenting but i didn't. ninja it was nice to see other ( apparently? ) older people on gaia though. it gets tiring when everyone i talk to asks 'so what grade are you in?' lol. but i hardly ever get any comments or messages from anyone nowadays though

Well, I only got accepted for vet assistant, not the vet. But in six years my decision to study this hasn't changed. I usually get very depressed in october, get hospitalized in november and had to take academic leave, but I pulled through this year. Finished my exams. I just hope I can make it. I have like 30 games on my laptop and don't want to play any, or read books, or watch movies/shows. I can't find anything to occupy myself with. *shrugs*

Right now I don't. I think it's seasonal right now, because taking everything into account, I'm doing pretty well, but I can barely get out of bed, I just lie and stare at the ceiling, zero motivation to do anything. And my parents are sort of difficult, but I haven't been home for a month, so it was time to visit.
I'm studying veterinary medicine, to become a vet assistant. I started in 2013, but been on academic leave for 6 year. Came back to study in september.

Well, I'm back in Lithuania and back studying again. My exam session just ended and I have a week vacation at my parents house, but besides everything I feel very depressed.
So the new bumpers are kicking out old MPT regulars now?
