The ring I sold wasn't a Soulbound. Powerful rings, such as the Mantis Ring, cannot be unequiped once they have been equipped. However, plenty of rings are not soulbound, meaning you can still unequip and sell them. The reason I was able to sell Hack was because it wasn't a soulbinding ring.

Some rings are Soulbound, meaning that once you equip them, you cannot sell or trade them.
