Chuckle. Potty trained is IMPORTANT! and social skills are the most important thing to learn at age 3. I am teaching the alphabet a bit different I am teaching vowels first. Phonics rather then just sight. So far so good! We started the begining of September. I make it a game and we play thoughout the day. I had some parents not understand what I was doing atfirst but now everyone is catching on that their kids are identifying letters everywhere they go.

Chuckle...Yeah I know I had my kids in private school for a while. Have you already started anything with them? I am using a home schoolprogram to teach my preschoolers at daycare.

Home schooling is awesome! I wish I could my own. In my state anything past second grade you have to have so much college before you can legally home school. I am almost through my frist year of college.I can only take night classes so it is taking me longer to get enough classes done! What made you guys decide to home school?

So glad you joined Mommy and daddy's heart smile I am the mod for toddler troubles. I look forward to hearing all ab out what the triplets do! We also have a discussion on preschool and daycare going right now.

Mine are older smile I have 10,12,14,and 16. I also have a family home childcare smile There "my" kids are 4months, 12 months, 15 months 2 1/2 , 3,3, 3 1/2. They are not mine of course but they are mine each day to teach and love!

I mean, as much as your kids probably love you staying home with them...you should probably have something to fall back on.

Right? And if your father in law thinks you're such a deadbeat, why not let him take care of your kids for a few days, and he can see just how much you do?

That'll put the shoe on his other foot, without being rude. And if you need an excuse for him to watch them, say "I'm getting a job. Would you watch the kids?"

Yeah. You should totally get a job. Give your kids a good man to look up to---you!

It's always the best thing for a kid to have a good responsible father figure.
