Yeah I get gacha fatigue super easily lol. Probably much due in part to sinoalice rofl. When I started not long after launch, generally I could pull a featured job within a few ten pulls. Now, lololol. Dorothy alternative ext has been rereleased I dunno how many times now and I still will probably never get her. Just as well I guess. Any time I get invested in a game and it becomes my favorite the app happens to shut down rofl. Sinoalice thrives by my lack of interest! I think JP just has the monthly rerelease gacha. Which always seems to have jobs that were already heavily released in it anyway.

Yeah the heavy focus on arcana doesn't help either haha. Like most of the time not getting all the arcana released at the same time as the job feels barely different than not getting the job at all lol. I never liked going to colo that much so it worked out to have my own guild so I can care less lol. I did make a point of making my deck based on magical attack though which trips up some other guilds because of course the first thing to do is debuff physical attack and lol, doesn't work on me so much. Yeah the release of Aladdin was promoted big time for JP, as the first male character. I feel like I don't get him (despite him showing up for me constantly rofl) but that's okay because in all likelihood I'm not the target audience for him haha. He's one of the few Dorothy's workshop jobs that looks like he's having fun so I guess that's kinda cute.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure what else they could do with Aladdin/Hamelin in a game full of BIG personalities lol. As with the other characters they have their own motivations and strife, but it would be weird if their ambitions came close to some of the older characters who've had more arcs for build up and are much more driven. Said as someone who often likes less popular/side characters lol. And haha thanks! I'd say Kuya's hair was weirdly easy, but it only went pretty quick after I found the right color scheme. Which took a while lol. I figured out several ways to make the top more "accurate" but ahh. It's such a small area that the top I picked for the shape still looks better to me lol. The jade tiger qipao would be perfect but why wouldn't this site have forced cleavage on the male base for random items rofl. So frustrating.

That's all right, on both counts! I rarely log on anymore myself. Just don't have the energy to grind through yet another tiered gacha to end up with nothing yet again lol. My guild is very dead but still leeches gran medals when I happen to remember to enter lol. So I just thought that, somehow haha, might be better than a one person guild. I kinda just stopped actually attending to colo all together.

Global seems even more colo focused, if that's possible lol? Like on JP there's the ingame announcements of winners and physical trophies and stuff I think. But global has its own colo gacha and stuff.

Yeah I think my grid is just made up of jobs I wanted and weapons I thought were cool lol. And for the biggest deal they made out of Aladdin, they sure like to skip him when it comes to jobs lol. Like Gretel and Pinocchio are complicated characters but when Aladdin was first announced they were all "first MAN character" and now he's pushed to the back burner. And I feel like Hamelin isn't popular either lol.

It's super dead of course but you'd be welcome to join my sinoalice jp guild, if you like! Sometimes I remember to enter gran and do things lol. I don't even pretend to understand how gacha works on global. It's like they saw how bad it is on jp and interpreted it as a challenge to see how they could make it nonsensical and worse lol.

Dorothy's jobs are weird and fun so I guess I understand how they aren't the ones that bring in money lol. I think in the past that may have annoyed me, but meh. It's fun to see new ones but at this point I don't get frustrated by not being able to pull anything I want anymore.

The gacha rates just get worse so I play less and less lol. Between that and Dorothy jobs always being support when I play dps I'm lucky if I remember to log in to register for gran to make sure I get the medals haha. Gretel is my other favorite character and I love that they used Little Twin Stars for them and how they were used so maybe I'll try a little harder for this gacha lol.

hi im back from the dead (computer dying) but im back now (new comp)

yeah overall the problem is that it feels cheap for death to just be undone like that. fire emblems always been a war game like that so it should commit. i didnt like chrom's older sister surviving eithr, it undercut her sacrifice. ...i dont count turning off the "gone forever" permadeath mode in favor of them being grievously injured and pulled from the battlefield but thats also a gameplay feature imo. im just not good enough at tactic games to have a 0 death run so i like not getting my troops killed bc of a skill issue instead of a story one.

god priam.... i dont even know him nor recruited him but ive Heard Things. i didnt know that about the continent! that's pretty cool. 3nodding i think some fanservice can work but it can be a flop too. did i joke about the B A B Y V O I D yet bc fates having the baby void was sooooo silly. not just the plot thing but that it was clearly trying to just make awakening 2 without letting it be its own thing and focusing on its own themes and gameplay.

poor kellam, that was pretty flanderized. at least i did get something out of it! See, kellam always bemoaned his invisibility, but its possible to make him a Thief and then an Assassin. I thought it made good sense because then a trait he disliked instead became a huge strength in his career. also he could crit like a beast. so i love kellam <3 my fave is henry though :3 amongst others!

Wait the designer also did fates Sei Shonagon?? wow. its really weird+funny bc i wwas thinking of sei as an example of like, a very color forward character that Did work, and i was thinking about how the blue is lighter and the red is darker and honestly? fate designs are often over the top bc its a more fantastical setting. fire emblem, while having anime conventions, have traditionally had more restrained artwork, with monochrome hair and more functional armor. relatively speaking, of course.

I actually got so annoyed with the story i stopped just a few chapters in. i dont necessarily mind a character carrying the idiot ball at the start but then all the weird choices just soured the game for me bc i knew i wouldn't find what i was looking for. seems like a lot of fates is about wanting to have their cake even after eating it, making a far weaker narrative and insipid themes. like please im begging you Commit to something. and yknow just. plz let this be a game about Family instead of having ur pc romance anime girls are Not Technically related to you.

trying to think if awakening was as bad and i didnt notice orif it was truly a step down bc it sure feels like it. i mean, awakening has flaws for sure (plegia + orientalism/colorism, My God Put Some Clothes On That Child nowi, etc) but there was a lot i enjoyed about it. like one of the supports between henry and ricken discussing how the enemy soldiers are People, and how to reconcile oneself to that. i like the bonds to support the main story and its war themes!

apparently the designer was a vtuber artist and im like yeah... that explains a lot. not enough restraint in style for an FE character

maybe gameply is the wrong word? creative decisions. like in fates they set up what i thought was an intriguing premise: adopted family or blood family? but wait! turns out you werent merely adopted but kidnapped! etc etc. it felt liek a really fun and tricky ethical choice as a setup for conflict. thennnnn they completely make a hard left bending over backwards trying to pretend no one is really like family to make them all dateable talk2hand gross, not what i came for, And undermines the very premise they set up.

for sure for sure! i like your choice in making it an under-dye situation, the color is better balanced. honestly itmight just look worse on a cover with so much going on and so many other colors conflicting with it. so hopefully the protags will look better when by alone in gameplay, even if it feels very harley quinn.

i haven't played FE since awakening bc of the. lets say interesting gameplay choices. sigh. i hope this'll be better! right now im preoccupied with splat3n

i Just found out about the FE protags today ad was making fun of it with my friends so your avatar was a fun surprise!
Also because of how so much better it looks??? which is wild. i mean yeah it still gives me "sailor captain america" vibes but it still looks like. cohesive as a design.

design issues aside, i hope its a fun game you can enjoy. 3nodding
