Well let's see. I'm Matt. I'm not that specail of a guy, but I got your back if you need it. I got all the time in the world, so if you need someone to listen to you, I'll be willing to.
I play sports. I like football, wrestling is a beast, and track & field, but I hate running.
Top five most hated things in practice.
1. Indian Runs. Horrible. It's that thing where you line up in a straight line and run a mile. Usually coach would say run a mile in 6:30. The indian Runs is where the last person in line sprints to the front and so on. It gets really annoying when someone slows down, because that leaves a big gap and the back person has to sprint soo much further. It slows down everyone and if you don't make the time. You do it again. and again and again til coach says stop. Indian Runs cortesy of Wrestling.
2. Pyramid Runs. They're pretty annoying too. You start off running a mile or 1600meters. Then you run 800 meters, then 400meters, then 200meters,then100meters,then50meters and then you go back up! Oh did I say run the whole time? Well when you hit 400meters you would sprint so from 400,200,100,50,100,200,400 you would have to sprint all of that or coach would make not only you but the whole team start over. Cortesty of Track.
3. Suicides, There's a reason they're called that! Expecially when your coach makes you do it for 30minutes straight! Depending on whether you do them right or not, he'll tell you to keep going. or sometimes when your dead tired he'll go and tell you to do a suicide in under some time. Oh, btw it's when you go on the football field and start at the goal and sprint(the whole time) to the 20 yard, 40yard,other 40 yard, other 20, other goal and back. Cortesy of Wrestling.
4. Wall Sprints, My head is ringing from how many times and how loud my coach yells at us to sprint. "Sprint!!!" Basically we are in the wrestling room and we sprint from wall to wall. Easy enough? Now take that and add in 20minutes or untill EVERYONE sprint or if you make a time. If there is one person that holds you back you are SCREWED. You will keep going and going and going and going for up to 1 hour, because some stupid kid does not know how to sprint. Also coach will trick you when you're doing wall sprint where you're already suppose to be sprinting. He'll yell out Sprint! and if everyone starts running faster he'll be mad. He'll say why did you guys just get faster?! You were already suppose to be sprinting! Cortesy of Wrestling
