Death Is My Co-Pilot

A Tribute to the Grim Reaper

About

The personification of death as a living, sentient entity is a concept that has existed in many societies since the beginning of recorded history. In Western cultures, death is usually given the name "The Grim Reaper" and shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe, and wearing a midnight black gown, robe or cloak with a hood, or sometimes, a white burial shroud. Usually when portrayed in the black-hooded gown, only his eyes can be seen.

The Death of Duality

We live on a dualistic planet, held in its weather system by the tension between the North and South poles. Our thinking brain, the cerebrum, is divided in two, and collects data through two ears, dual eyes, and twin nostrils.

We are surrounded by duality: up/down, left/right, good/bad, male/female, ebb/flow, in/out, war/peace, win/lose, etc. Everywhere we look the play of opposites spins its samsaric web. And most people are tangled up in the fabric of illusion's veil.

Born into a web of lies. Educated and indoctrinated into an elaborate belief system. Immersed in the duality of thought. How on Earth can I know Heaven's Oneness when everything maintains and affirms duality?

How to escape the labyrinth of thought? How to put together the pieces of the puzzle? What is the answer to life's question?

Everywhere people seek the fulfillment of Oneness by dualistic means: eating, consumerism, philosophisation, fighting, believing.

Is there a non-dual answer that will cut through the weft and warp of duality's veil; the veil which obscures the Vision of Oneness?

For me the secret Sword that slices cleanly through the weave of ideational chain-mail, is the Scythe of Death. I don't mean physical death, but Death Consciousness.

Death is obviously a Force greater than all the things in the Universe. Even planets and suns yield to Death's Edge. It is a Force in the mind that we can harness if we can learn to bear its Power in our consciousness.

Just as the Force of Love requires much experience and skill before we can handle it in a consciously constructive way; the same applies to the Force of Death, before we can utilize it in a consciously destructive way.

Once made conscious, the Death Force can be used to dissolve or dismantle the fixed ideational fabrications or structured belief systems which trap us in duality. WHEN MADE CONSCIOUS, THE SCYTHE OF DEATH IS A POWERFUL TOOL WHICH CUTS THROUGH THE VEIL OF DUALITY.

People fear Death because they have not experienced that Oneness which is greater than Death, and is not subject to Death's Force. Love and Being, which are attributes of Oneness, are also immune to Death's Scything.

The Luciferian Death Force must be integrated into consciousness before the mental constructs of duality can be successfully dissolved.

Death Meditation

As I now write
I Am in the Vision.
It pierces me from within;
and I die into the All.
~
Silence screams into my mind,
where thoughts once roamed.
Now there's a vast lake of emptiness,
filled with Nectar.
~
My senses are dead;
but the Shine of Knowing remains.
The shackles of duality are broken,
as I float into Space.
~
In the depthless depth of Being
what can one say from Oneness?
All thoughts have drowned in Nectar.
There is no more to speak.
~
It ends in the Glory of the beginning.

The Integration of Death Consciousness

Death Consciousness is always in the Mind; usually repressed just below the surface. It's like a Monster, an all-consuming threat, ready to devour any unsuspecting ego.

I feel I know Death intimately. If I had a beer with the Grim Reaper we would get on well. For me, Death Consciousness is an indispensable, spiritual quality. Death's Wish is that we be reunited with God. It is a portal or conduit to Oneness.

Many people interpret death literally. But we don't have to wait to die physically in order to experience it. Death operates at an energetic and psychological level too. It can dissolve the mental forms or belief structures that distort Reality and trap the mind in an illusory and ignorant state.

Most people, it seems, are so entangled within the fabric of dualistic thinking, that they rarely glimpse the non-dual Ground of Oneness behind the phenomenal world.

Lucifer is an experiential Guide. A portal into an Eternal Realm of Being. I remember when Death was an unconscious, mysterious fear, lurking in the background of my mind. As a child I would look under the bed at night, intuiting a menacing Presence in the room.

Now I have little, if any, fear of Death. The Luciferian Image is lucid, and well integrated in my mind. It performs an important function, just as Love Consciousness, Self Consciousness, and Power Consciousness do. Without it the mind is not whole, nor Holy.

The Force of Death, with its dark Eye, pierces the veil of duality's illusion. And once the ego has gone through its wrath-like death-throes, the epiphany of Truth starts to glisten in the mind.

How strange! To look back from Death's side.
