Yes! I got my current profile / signature art with real money too, and it's the best thing I ever bought on DA / Gaia.
But right now I can't work more than a few days a month because of university and that doesn't leave enough money for any "luxury" purchases like avatar art xd

Urgh. You know how nasty it is then. Mine's all better, for now. A tear can take a long time to knit back together completely, depending on how bad it was. I could get recurrent abrasions occasionally as the tear "wrinkles" during sleep, that's already happened a couple of times. It usually only last 15 or 20 minutes though. I have drops to use for however long it takes, so, fingers crossed.

It's not too bad today, the antibiotic drops have kicked in xd I walked into a tree branch last month while gardening and stabbed the cornea. That leaves it vulnerable to infection. Not fun. Definitely not fun. Very very far away from fun.

Aye, he was in Florida. A lot of our food is very bland. We never developed spices or strong flavorings like other countries. I guess when you spend hundreds of years eating potatoes, cabbage and an occasional fish, it doesn't get too exciting rofl
Omigosh, I seriously have to log off. I have an eye infection and should totally not be using the computer at all! gonk

My son was over there a few years ago, he said your barbecue sauces were lovely, and the the way you guys cooked chicken. The weirdest thing he tasted was churros.

Honeycomb candy bars....that might be a Crunchie? Have you tried Tayto Crisps? You call them chips. We call chips, crisps, and we call french fires chips. Confused yet? lol People from the US say our bread tastes very different too, I dunno.

You already sound vastly interesting. I've never met anyone before who cleans up toxic waste 'n stuff.
Anyway, England is awesome, so full of amazing ancient history, and a gentle introduction to further European travel. The museums in London alone are amazing. You can visit 22b Baker St. xd and the Victoria and Albert Museum full of stolen empire treasures lol and little birds will feed from you hand in Kew gardens and flocks of pigeons will assault you in Trafalgar Square and there are little villages all over the place with village greens and vicarages and adorable old pubs that you expect to see hobbits in.
