Tortured tattered ripped and torn ..
my heart has been
tormented by the eyes that stare at me endlessly
my child holds me through the night
awoken by the screams that didn't cease
The tears fell from her eyes
stained with fear..I could tell
we walked the stairs..
how they seemed to have no end
the step she missed made me shake
still we walked to the door at the end of the hallway
how long it seemed to reach..
the bodies lay
covered in crimson blood..dead
she forgot about her friend..I fell from her grasp
I was once loved now I'm the doll that pain hugs..broken
