Yep! That's all because of Flynn's Booty, mostly.
Cause if you buy Flynn's Booty from the cash box, for like 99 GC I think, you basically are almost guaranteed to get at least 1 mil, if not more (and most people get more than that... way more, from one chest).
So now there's a bunch of Gaians with like 1 mil plus (myself included - though I've stopped using GC like over a month ago) who are buying and selling things and the marketplace has suffered because of it. But Gaia keeps rereleasing the thing making everything so damn expensive making the site barely accessible to non-paying players I just wtf

They explicitly ignore that Flynn's Booty is ******** up the marketplace prices and are basically rereleasing it over and over probably to spite everyone trying to save the Gaia economy, and every friggin announcement now is a flash sale or some s**t about the cash shop. It's just constant advertising D:
