Awh, that sounds sad. I mean, I know Christmas isn't all about receiving gifts but it's still nice to get some. It's nice that your brother at least got you the whiskey, though! Did your family like the gifts you got them? Giving gifts can be a lot of fun.

Selene had sharp hearing of course, so she woke up instantly when she heard voices outside not far from the house. She jumped up and peeked out the window. "Humans?" She thought to herself as they didn't look or smell like any of the group that had been trailing her earlier.

(ooc - That's fine. Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been online in about a week or so.)

Selene had been on the run from a large group of vampires who hated her for killing off two of their Elders, Viktor and Marcus. She hated running from a fight, but she wasn't stupid, she knew when she was out numbered. She finally found an abandoned house and broke in. It was dark, but she could see in the dark and for some reason whom ever had lived there before had left almost everything they owned before they left. She sat on the floor, beside the locked front door. Her gun drawn and waiting to fire UV rounds at her pursuers if they barged in at any moment. Hours past and not a sign that any of them knew where she was; so she let herself relax a little and she fell asleep. She hadn't slept in days.

Selene ran her fingers through her hair as she lay back into a comfortable position. She then saw her 12 year old peeking around the corner. Selene sighed but smiled. "Come on out darling, I know you're curious." She said as the girl shyly walked over to her mother and James on the couch. "James, this is my daughter Eve." She said as she pulled the girl onto her lap. "Eve, this is James; the man who gave me the keys to this place." Selene explained. Eve stared at the man. "Hello." She said softly.

She went to the kitchen and began washing the medical supplies. She then reached in one of the cabinets looking through some glass bottles. "As you know, I'm not a whisky drinking girl ... I have vodka, red wine, and rum .... You're welcome to any of it." She called from the kitchen.

Selene smiled as she continued removing all the bullets. "Oh shush! You said yourself that you were in too much pain to even take off your shirt ... if that would be too painful, then how on earth would you have managed to remove these bullets and dress the wounds on your own hmm? ... Besides, I've done this for others plenty of times, you're safe in my hands." She told him as she took out the last bullet, then cleaned up the blood and wounds, then patched the bandages on. "There .... besides, I owed you that." She told him as she dropped all the bloody rags and the tweers into the bowl.

(ooc - Oh I now the feeling! >.< It sucks whenever you're really horny yet too tired to play with it and get the job done ;D I've been in bed before, so sleepy I could hardly keep my eyes open; but I'd be like: 'Must! .. rub .. my c**t!' ... lol )

Selene removed James' shirt quickly yet carefully and knelt down in front of him where he sat on the couch. She took the kit in hand. "Just lean back and try your best not to clench up in the pain, it's easier on your body if you're as relaxed as possible during this." She said as she put her hand on his chest and gently pushed him into a lying position; then grabbed a washcloth, twisted it into a roll and put it to his lips. "Here, you'll need to bite down on this." She told him, then proceeded to clean the surface of the wounds with rubbing alcohol; then took a set of large tweezers from the kit. "Try to breath and relax now." She said and then carefully stuck the tweezers into the first wound and removed the first bullet.
