Twilight Garden - A Writers Guild

Founded by Dischord & Chris Ganale, this guild is a haven for writers of all types, whether you're an excellent writer, or want a place to practice and improve in an atmosphere where you'll have other writers to give you an encouraging hand, and a little guidance when needed. Whether you need a lot of improvement, or just a little, or just want a steady place to showcase your work, this is the place. Created because, lets face it, sometimes fanfiction.net just won't do the job for you, and because Gaia is where most of us spend our time, the main focus of this guild is just what we've said; a showcase for artists to flash their writing, and maybe their artistry in tandem. Poetry, stories, songs, just random thoughts, feel free to use this place for that purpose.

Joining us is simple enough. Send a join request, let us know why you want to join, and bam, you're in. We're going to have a join fee, so this won't be free. The fee is 500 gold, and pays in part for the subforum we'll set up for you after you've donated the full amount to the guilds funds. The subforums will be where our stories will go, though we do have a general forum set up for those who can't immediately afford the prior 2500 join fee. We'll of course have an update thread so people can post whenever they update their stories, what chapters they're on, and so on. People who are invited for various reasons will have a forum provided for them, but very few people will get hand out invites, so never fret.

Extra donations will eventually be used for guild contests, which we may have every so often. When we do a major fiction challenge, we'll give away prizes, and maybe a few other things, depending on what it is, we may even have someone commission a picture for your story! What all happens depends on how popular we manage to grow. If you decide you want to donate to us, and have the money be accessible for the Guild Admins, please send a trade to [ Twilight - Garden ], the guild mule with the title 'Guild Donation' at the top of the trade. Any money accepted will be put back towards the good of the guild, for subforums for those members who want to join, and maybe can't afford it, that we can waive the fee for, or other such things. Items donated will be put as prizes, or sold and the money put towards the purchase of prizes for the guild contests.

The rules are pretty simple. We'll have a basic list, because that's really all we need.

- Make sure you read the rules in full before joining us.
- No stories that violate the ToS. That means no smut, no super heavy violence, no torture, no indepth rape.
- Make sure you slap a rating on your story in the title. Standard ratings are G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17. Nothing had better go beyond NC-17. Stories breaking this rule will be removed without warning.
- We expect reviews, not slander. Slanderous posts will be removed. Rememeber to be friendly in your criticism, it is meant to encourage and improve, not hurt and discourage.
- Make sure you read the Information thread from top to bottom before you join! We do everything with a little structure so that we have an easy time sorting out stories and chapters from reviews!
