I'm doing well enough, all things considered. Starting tomorrow I'm going on a road trip with the family, so I'll be unavailable for fortune-telling (Which is pretty quiet as-is) and J-Corp meetings. Planning on shifting to Matsuri gear in a minute, too. Team Kitsune for the win! biggrin

I definitely can see more of your outfit. It's a lot nicer than I thought it was and it looked pretty nice to begin with! As for the new hair, it looks interesting. Your arm coverings kinda blend in with it though. I thought there were braids in the hair at first before realizing it was your arms. I keep seeing things in hair that are really other things! xD Remember when I thought your small purple horn was a hair streak?

Hi Rose,

Yeah, life has been chalk full of "interesting times." My mum took another stroke not long after the wedding. Speculation is that the stress of pulling the wedding together and her own stubbornness are responsible. I've been spending a lot of time helping to take care of her. Doctor's appointment and hospital runs and clinicky stuff. They have her learning to walk again, plus speech therapy and other therapy to regain use of her arm. She was doing so well, but all the stress hurt her. I thought I'd taken most of that off of her, but *deep sigh* I guess not enough. It was scarey. She just went down this time.

Plus Julian had his project at work finish, which meant that his company decided that they were going to send him out of state on a new project for an unspecified amount of time. Minimum of six months, probably a year. So that would have meant living in separate cities. They *wanted* him to move outright. But then another option came up at the absolutely last minute - we were literally packing him up and looking for a place for him to live - and then four days before he was supposed to leave, he got a job offer from another company. The job itself is out of state, but close enough that he can commute a hour to and an hour from home a day. He's really happy with the job, but we aren't getting to spend as much time together as we're used to doing. On the other hand, at least I see him. The other project would have meant that we could only meet online for weeks on end. Not exactly the newlywed year we were looking for.

And trying to get the second floor of the house habitable so we can move our bedroom upstairs and have an actual dining room where it belongs and living room. So much work to do and only weekend to do it now. It's just a lot to do. And work is about to hit the busy season. So extra hours, which means more money, but less time.

So, yeah. Life is keeping me pretty busy.
