Also, anytime you start to think that the style is irking you, just remember, this was what Casshern used to be back in the day.

So it's about Casshern right? Basically, he beefed it SO HARD that the whole world is a desolate wasteland and people are dying of some crazy thing called The Ruin that causes everything to rust away and Casshern is the only one immune to it, also he's totally an unkillable immortal now. Also he has amnesia. Also he doesn't know why everyone is TRYING TO EAT HIM. It's a pretty good (and depressing!) show with him wandering around meeting people who are just trying to deal with shiz.
